Getting started
For new clients we offer an initial no obligation one-hour fixed fee consultation. The consultation can be in person, by phone or by exchange of email. This is an opportunity for you to seek initial advice on your case, get a second opinion, or gather sufficient information to take the case forward yourself.
The cost of the initial consultation is
£267 per hour for a solicitor of more than 4 years qualification
£200 per hour for a solicitor of less than 4 years qualification
All of these rates are exclusive of VAT.
In some limited circumstances we may charge a premium hourly rate in excess of the standard hourly rate. An example of these circumstances might be where you instruct us very late in the day and we are required to work to extremely tight deadlines or outside of normal office hours.
In all cases we will give you an estimate of how much our charges will be and any different options that might be available to you. We will usually confirm this with you in writing.
Immigration fees

If you are on a very low-income legal aid may be available for your case. This means that you do not have to pay for your legal costs. We have been awarded contracts by the government to provide legal aid, but it is only available in limited circumstances. Most areas of law are now out of scope for legal aid. If you need legal aid please ask us and we will tell you if it is available.
